Plant Block Three-Layer Leafy Vegetable Version: Assembly and Practical Planting Test

Table of Content [Hide]

Recently, we conducted assembly and practical planting tests on the Plant Block Three-Layer Leafy Vegetable Version. The entire process went smoothly, and the device's performance met our expectations.

The assembly was completed by two people working together. From unpacking and checking the accessories (including the main body of the planting rack, LED grow lights, 25L water tank, water pump, connecting pipes and hoses, etc.) to gradually assembling the device and connecting the electrical and water circuits according to the instruction manual, the entire process took only 2 hours. The equipment accessories are clearly labeled and adopt a snap-on design, so no additional tools are required. Even those without installation experience can quickly learn the steps through the tutorial video. After assembly, we carried out preliminary tests on all functions: the LED grow lights can switch brightness and timing modes normally, the nutrient solution circulation water pump operates stably without noise, the water tank level display is accurate, and there are no malfunctions or lags in the overall operation.

The intelligent design of this device is a major highlight—it supports WiFi connection. After downloading the APP on a mobile phone and scanning the device's QR code to complete pairing, remote control can be realized. On the APP interface, users can intuitively check the device's current operating status and also customize settings according to the growth needs of lettuce. There is no need for frequent manual operations next to the device, which greatly improves usability.

Subsequently, we conducted a lettuce planting test: in accordance with hydroponic requirements, we placed pretreated lettuce seeds into the planting holes, added specialized leafy vegetable nutrient solution, and ensured the liquid level met the standard. Surprisingly, we observed the seeds beginning to germinate one after another only 2-3 days later. The seedlings have white roots and expanded cotyledons, with a germination rate exceeding 90%. This is attributed to the device's stable microenvironment control: constant growth temperature, appropriate light intensity, and continuous nutrient solution circulation, which provide optimal conditions for seed germination—resulting in significantly higher efficiency compared with traditional soil cultivation.

At present, the lettuce seedlings have entered the rapid growth stage, and the device remains in stable operation. This Plant Block Three-Layer Leafy Vegetable Version not only solves the problem of limited home planting space (with a footprint of only about 0.75 square meters) but also lowers the barrier to planting through its intelligent and modular design. It allows ordinary users to easily fulfill the need to "grow fresh lettuce at home" without requiring professional agricultural knowledge.
